About us

Virtual Qatar (VQTR) is a premium Virtual Airline built for flight simulation pilots who value realism, professionalism, and community. Based on the real-world operations of Qatar Airways, VQTR replicates the global network and five-star service standards that make the airline world-renowned, but with a strong community twist that puts fun and pilot engagement first.

What makes us special?

🏆 Realism, Refined
We simulate Qatar Airways operations with a high degree of realism, from aircraft assignments and routing to ATC procedures and briefing formats.

We use VAMSYS as our ACARS and crew center, offering integrated SimBrief dispatching, custom scoring, and event management.

🌍 Global Network, Unified Style
We operate over 170+ destinations worldwide, matching Qatar Airways’ extensive long-haul and regional routes.

Fleet includes A320s, A330s, A350s, B777s, and the A380 — all tailored with realistic SimBrief profiles, restrictions, and handling rules.

💼 Professional Airport Briefings
Every major destination is supported with a detailed airport briefing, formatted consistently across our network. Each briefing includes:

Runway configs

Taxiway layouts

Gate assignments by aircraft type

Threat management

ATC frequencies
These are written by pilots, for pilots.

🧑‍✈️ Engaging Points System
Pilots earn points based on flight performance, landing rate, flight time, and event participation.

We reward consistent flying and encourage growth through a rank progression system.

🎉 Community & Events
We host bi-weekly events with bonus points, prizes, and group flights — often VATSIM-supported.

There’s also a fun social side with group screenshots, challenges, and giveaways.

🛫 Flexible Yet Focused
Fly whenever you want, wherever you want — but we offer recommended rotations and aircraft restrictions for those who love structure.

Our pilot resources help you fly like a pro, with guides, SimBrief profiles, and more.

Why Join Virtual Qatar?
Because you want more than just a logbook. You want a crew, a mission, and a five-star sim experience — all delivered with precision, passion, and community spirit.

Review Virtual Qatar

Public Review Guidelines

We welcome honest and constructive feedback from pilots. To keep reviews useful and fair, please follow these rules:

  1. Base it on your own experience — You must be a current or former pilot of the Virtual Airline you are reviewing, and only write about what you have personally experienced.
  2. Keep it respectful — No offensive language, profanity, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks. Criticism is fine, but focus on the airline or its operations, not individuals.
  3. Be specific enough to be meaningful — Helpful reviews include details such as routes, events, community, or support. One-line praise or criticism without explanation may be rejected.
  4. Avoid conflicts of interest — Don’t post if you’re part of a competing Virtual Airline and leaving negative feedback. Don’t review your own airline.
  5. No campaigns or manipulation — Don’t encourage others to post reviews in bulk, whether positive or negative.
How we moderate reviews
  • All reviews are checked by the MNA Team before publishing.
  • We operate on a trust basis — we assume your review is genuine unless there’s a reason to question it.
  • Reviews may be temporarily hidden if they need clarification or breach these rules.
  • If no update is provided when requested, the review may be permanently removed.
  • Initial publication does not guarantee a review will remain visible.
